Today I got appointment letter from the forthcoming Weekly Magazine “Utsyabhumi” (???????) which is going to start publication from 16th December, 2006. I am appointed as IT Editor (Part-time). So my workload increased once more. I will do this job only for improving my writing skill not for salary.

Since few days, I was observing their attitudes. They are trying to be professional. Good things. But being tried to be formal, I believe they are importing bureaucracy.

Today, I have created another class for creating subdomains in cPanel account. This class will be very helpful who wants to provide auto subdomain creations for their users. User will ask to enter desired subdomain. The script will either create it or will inform that it is already exists.

To use this class, open example.php in the attachment and change this line to suite your environmnet

Upload the script to your website and run example.php. Hope it should work fine.

Just now, I finished today’s work of Utsyabhumi’s project. Good progress today. My productivity was satisfactory. Did not face any significant error. I could do what I wanted. Problem is that, as I am not a good designer, I am not satisfied whatever I design. Hence, a pretty simple design is ok for time being. Will change later if needed.

Work will be resumed from next morning. I have to go very very fast as I lost some idle time at the beginning of the project. Hope I will be able to complete in time.

Feeling zzz……so going to sleep

I received two books from Wiley for reviewing. They are titled “Professional Ajax” and “Professional PHP5″. The pages are excellent and the books’ binding are comfortable for reading. I already started reading the first book.

So, I am in little bit pressure of doing routine works and reviewing those books. Moreover, more books are coming from Packt Publishing very soon. So, I must complete these books before new books arrive.

In spite of pressure, I am enjoying while reading the books.

Just fifteen minutes ago, EDGE service in my mobile is activated. Instantly I connected the mobile in my pc and logged in to internet. WOW:D. Now my PC is connected to Internet. This is my first post in my blog.

So, no tension of moving here and there. I can work consistently in my room.

Yesterday, I was coming to Rajshahi. While we are coming just before Natore, we saved from a great accident. Thanks Allah

This book, AJAX and PHP::Building Responsive Web Application, is one of the best book I have as it discussed the technology not only in theoretically but also with all real life example.

For the second time, my article published in Computer Jagat. Computer Jagat is the oldest monthly ICT magazine of Bangladesh.

My this writing was on forthcoming Microsoft Expression suit.

The authority shorten the article and dropped somethings. But some of them were important.

The 2nd & 3rd prize gone to Drupal & Plone respectively.

Create e-mail addresses for cPanel accounts

This is a simple class that can be used create e-mail addresses for domains hosted using a cPanel account.

It extends a script originally made available in the zubrag.com Web site.

The class accesses a cPanel Web server and sends a command to create an e-mail account with a given address, password and quota.

The class retrieves and process the cPanel server response to determine whether the account creation was successful or it could not be created when the account already exists.

Finally Microsoft may be touching the main stream of professional web development IDE. Microsoft is going to lunch a new software suite titled “Microsoft Expression” which contains three softwares. Web Designer, Interactive Designer & Graphic Designer.

Expression Web Designer is a great tool which can be compared market ruling Macromedia Dreamweaver (Now Adobe Dreamweaver).

Previously microsoft did not get any suitable position in this market with its FrontPage. But this software has many great features for professional development.
